An honour to be present at the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony to hear the testimony of Nihon Hidankyo - the survivors of the bombings of Nagasaki and Hiroshima - who have advocated tirelessly for the abolition of nuclear weapons. That there is a nuclear taboo at all is thanks to them.

brown faces: glorious in Prince Naseem, cartoonish in Abu Hamza, ordinary every day in Sanjay and Gita, the Ayatollah and Konnie Huq, all in a discontinuous, disordered carousel - I am working on a video art piece for my brother Mahtab Hussein for his solo show at Ikon Gallery next year.
