I decided quite early on that despite clan lavellan not surviving my playthrough, I’d put far too much grief on Eilhana already to do that to her.

playing the aveline/donnic quest as a hawke who has genuine feelings for aveline is just so … satisfying, personally, it scratches a real itch for me about the sort of stuff I want to see, it’s fascinating, it doesn’t work for my canon hawke but I loved it when I did it

the moment when nineteen year old lavellan lays eyes on blackwall, a man at least twice her age, and goes “yes that one”

and everyone around her is like, uh, isn’t he a little old for you? but also it’s not like they’re swimming in age appropriate guys to try and pair off with her.
