Masahiro Shinoda. I've seen eight of his films so far. Though not always thrilling, they're all showcases for immaculate blocking. Shinoda was a master at arranging elements within the frame, be it 1.37 or 2.35. #filmsky 🎬

It may be a fool's errand to speculate about the Academy Awards half a year in advance, but it's hard to shake the feeling that P.T. Anderson will finally collect a bunch of Oscars next March, even if 𝘖𝘯𝘦 𝘉𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦 𝘈𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘈𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 bombs with audiences. #Filmsky 🎬
