Fuck you people. Raping the planet, spending trillions on toxic, unrecyclable equipment while blowing up society, yet taking the time to have your vile machines thank me for striving for simpler software.

Just fuck you. Fuck you all.

I can't remember the last time I was this angry.

Was mildly concerned about having to migrate webmail accounts to another host for a new client. Babal Host's support offered to migrate the entire cPanel setup to their servers. Didn't even know you could do that.

Shoutout to them. Would recommend for affordable, reliable shared hosting.

To limit website width on very large displays, there's Tailwind's `container` class (shown below).

For something even simpler, there's Elementor's default style of `max-width:1200px`

This was the first month I made $1000 from komorebi's individual commercial use license sales

I just used that money to donate to The Sameer Project (Gaza) and to Mary's Place (Seattle)

Rubber duck debugging is real. I should maybe just post about programming problems I face so that I can think it through as I write.

Shoutout to when I spent quite some time looking for radio apps that used the phone's built-in FM antenna.

Later found out I could've just used Samsung's Radio app.

Checked all client websites yesterday for issues after WordPress auto-updated to 6.9. Thought I was in the clear till I got a client message. The one page I forgot to check was the only one with a problem.

Anyhoo, setting auto-updates to only security and maintenance versions. Lession learned.

Came across NeverSSL as a result.

Pretty cool site. Only loads over HTTP (depends) and can be useful to force the login / terms page to show up on public, hotel wifi

Strange bug+browser quirk of the day.

WordPress site I made doesn't use HTTPS on 404 pages. On a previous site, I fixed this by adding . htaccess rules to force redirect to HTTPS.

On this site, chromium based browsers will use HTTPS even if the server doesn't redirect.

Spent quite a while today looking into curating my bsky feed. When looking up something, I open a few tabs and don't stop till I go through all of them. This hyperfocus makes me forget about more imp. tasks at hand, esp. since each tab can spawn more tabs from me clicking links, searching stuff.

Stumbled onto @remysharp.com's blog and found out he also made nodemon. Why are so many of the nodemon sponsors casino sites though?

Today is a day when arts degrees are worthless, but the product of those degrees is so valuable it would kill an entire industry if they were made to pay for it.
