You choose your leaders and place your trust,
As their lies wash you down and their promises rust
That’s odd, because when they were in government, the Conservatives massively reduced European immigration and massively increased immigration from India and Africa.

Looking forward to this.

I didn’t know about this. The way WW1 veterans were treated was disgraceful.

No-one has the right not to be offended.

I doubt that anyone is trying to assassinate Farage.
Would you really want his name to appear alongside dedicated people who really cared about public service and their country?

The Farage Boats really got going after Brexit. migrationobservatory.ox.ac.uk/resources/br...

A fine example of Performative Walting.

(Thanks to @craig.nikolic.co.uk for that one.)

And ex-coppers are getting exasperated.

If you voted Brexit, you voted for more small boats.

Woopert the Walt is banging on about ‘the military’ again.

They say they are against illegal migration then oppose all attempts to manage it.

Wait until Bucks Fizz come on.

Elect posho Cameron: screws the economy, leads us into disastrous Brexit referendum.

Elect posho Johnson: Really screws the economy, negotiates crap Brexit deal, immigration goes off the scale.

“Hey, let’s elect posho Farage!”

Massive Walt energy here.

“Look, I’ve got loads of guns.
If it all kicks off, I’m ready!
I’m like a soldier, aren’t I?
Aren’t I?
Aren’t I….?”
August 22, 2025 at 9:55 PM
Probably best not to let him run anything.
August 22, 2025 at 5:10 AM
We don’t have operable return agreements with any of these countries.
So if you shut down the ‘migrant hotels’, what are you going to do with them?
And if you say ‘no-one arriving on a small boat gets asylum’, then what?
August 21, 2025 at 9:14 PM
Vote Leave said so too. They told Asian voters that more people from India and Pakistan would be allowed in after Brexit.
August 11, 2025 at 6:46 PM
Small boat arrivals also shot up after Brexit. People realised the agreements by which they could be sent back to continental Europe no longer applied.
August 11, 2025 at 6:42 PM
People from outside Europe are more likely to bring their dependents with them, which further increases the overall number. A lot of the EU migrants used to leave their dependents at home. (Charts by @MigrationWatch)

After 2021, big rises in immigration from South Asia (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan) and sub-Saharan Africa.
