What Greenpeace are advocating for here, is for the government to use powers that it only has due to Brexit.

So by extension, Greenpeace are in favour of Brexit.
The Government must follow the science on quotas, ban industrial fishing in marine protected areas, and put small-scale fishers, coastal communities, and ocean health before corporate profits.

Our oceans and the future of our fishing communities depends on it.

Brexit has done nothing to stem sharp decline of UK fish populations, shows study
Experts call for urgent strategy to end overfishing as report shows just 41% of stocks of species such as cod and mackerel considered healthy

Good morning @iandunt.bsky.social - you've asked the question in your article "who could name a single benefit" of Brexit. Well I've named 75 in my book.

Happy to send you a signed copy if you'd like, seeing as you're struggling to see the benefits. Let me know and I'll arrange it for you.

Good morning BlueSky people.

I see that many of you are still asking to see a single benefit of Brexit - well if you were asking the question genuinely, then you'll enjoy my book released this week.

Nearly 250 sources confirming 75 tangible Brexit benefits. Enjoy!

The general consensus this evening from the oh so learned wokerati on BS, on the topic of inheritance tax on farmers, seems to be "f**k farmers, they voted for Brexit and my feelings are still hurt about that"

Wanting to punish the people who grow your food, is not the smartest strategy is it.

Chart of the day... 🤓

The era of cheap UK #mortgages is over: the markets had already priced in further cuts from the Bank of England and expect fewer now after the #Budget, while some people have still to refinance existing loans at the new higher rates.

The thing I find amusing about the European Movement and their acolytes, pushing this rejoin EU petition.

EuroMove has over 23k members. In their weeks their constant promotion only got 36k signatures. So at best, they've got 13k people to sign the petition who weren't already members.

An interesting point that those advocating for reversing Brexit fail to mention.

There is no process to rejoin, only the process of joining (Article 49). Which requires amongst other things, an obligation to adopt the Euro.

Polling has shown 100% of the time, that Brits would rather stay out.

The USA has trade deals in place with 21 countries.

Of those 21, 18 of them also have trade deals in place with the EU. How many of them have trade deals with the UK? 19.

This whole "choose the EU or USA" is a nonsense.
I choose free trade. I choose sovereignty.

Well it seems as though this old Blue Sky place is devoid of people posting the benefits of Brexit, of leaving the EU.

I guess then that it shall be up to me to start the ball rolling then and get the good news flowing.

Nowhere to run from reality, and nowhere to hide.
