Hessen is an epic alliterative poem split into five "books" a la the Odyssey, Rime of the Ancient Mariner, Beowulf, etc.
It's dense, yet also brisk and fragmented enough to interpret and read any number of ways...

For the first time, I worked Christmas Day at my mental health recovery centre. It was pretty nice! Being of service is definitely a way to de-gross the holidays.
