So, I'm a habitual *and* proud eavesdropper.
There's this insanely talented old guy who plays the piano in this café. After he's done a couple gives him his well deserved props and chat with him.
They mention they're here from Austin, Texas, and suddenly the room goes QUIET.

I'm often quite upset at the state of life, but just now, I had a sincere moment of pause and gratitude. I looked at this space, and it's a space where I get to make art on my terms, listen to records, and put stuff I made up on the wall.
It genuinely makes me happy.
