One interesting thing is how *different* everything looks from an airplane. I thought I knew what a road looked like, but it's an entirely different object when I'm up there. Like, I have two different concepts that happen to have the same word.
Gray sky and brown/green fields viewed from above. Two roads are clearly distinguishable, they cross. From above: a river, then villages surrounding a runway. From above: two large ponds, a river, villages and then a runway. Instrument panel of a light airplaine. It shows airspeed, attitude, altitude (twice), a VOR, a turn coordinator, a heading indicator, a variometer and several engine parameters. All look like small analog clocks.

Gray clouds with a bit of blue sky. Gray clouds cover the sky but there's a hole with light rays coming down from it. More of the same. The photo is taken with a phone so the "light holes" look too bright, dazzling. More of the same, with a city underneath. Part of an airplane wing is showing in frame as well.

Some runways have handy arrows painted on them, so you don't inadvertently land your plane sideways! Very convenient.

Considering starting a small computer networks museum. Not sure when such cables were in use (they're old-style Ethernet cables, I think?).

Do not feed the routers.
