NNC has lost so many staff since its inception. It's 4yrs old and still hasn't been fully restructured or re-staffed. When they merge offices to the out of town Kettering location with no public transport serving it they'll undoubtedly lose even more. WFH is thin end of the wedge.

I believe my grandfather was one of the people who built it. I had many a bus ride to & from it (on the same route I still live on now), and had some cracking toasties from the greasy spoon cafe. It was so windy in there though. The whole town centre is pretty much a wind tunnel.

From a brutalist perspective I miss that bus station but it was unsalvageable from the locals' perspective. Even Stagecoach gave up using it in the end. The replacement car park is bland - hoping they'll build something imposing on it someday.
