What you gain in initial speed you loose in review time or bug fixing

As if it was written “by hand” even if you where super strict with the processes. Also I do think that having several agents working in parallel is in general a bad idea, too much cognitive overload if you actually care about understanding the code.

It is true though that one needs to be pretty methodical and self aware not to fall in the trap of asking too much to the LLM or have a task too big in scope. That’s when you start glossing over the code and take less ownership. It is true that code written by the LLM does not “feel as your own” …

I found that to be a workflow useful for serious production quality code. Sure there case where I skip all that and vibe code something, usually when exploring ideas, when building the back office or dev tools used internally

I am the one that usually seeds the original design or refactor strategy. Then I let the LLM challenge it, ask questions with the goal of uncovering blind spots or maybe suggest a better alternative. Then I let it write the code, then I review and iterate with the LLM.

I liked it. Also don’t agree with all of it but there a crucial point that it makes but in my opcion ion from the wrong angle.

I do agree out-sourcing thinking is a really bad idea. The way I use the LLM is ping-pong a solution, I am the one doing the puzzle solving

Wonder how experienced were all of these founders doing hiring

Me encantaría volver al feed RSS pero sigue habiendo gente interesante posteando contenido en redes que hace difícil salirse. Al menos en el ámbito profesional. También para volver al contenido en un formato más largo que 240 caracteres o un hilo incomodo de leer.

They clearly don’t clone the app but even if they did engineer / influencers underestimate the sales process. Specially in B2B where the product doesn’t weight that much compared to how it is sold.

And what strangers think in social media I give almost zero value … I know that’s a strange to say when answering a post from a persona that I’ve never met but you know what I mean hahaha

I feel the same but for all discourse in general in social media. Then I talk to friends and (former) colleagues & we have nuanced conversations. Maybe is bias towards relating to people that think similarly to me but I think that what you are describing mainly happens in social media with stranger.

Depending on what you are doing with it. I would say that for scripts and web Ruby is a good candidate

The idea is to build an AI agent that’s connected to our production and staging apps and proposes fixes for crashes by having access to our infra and source code. Will see how far I can take it … also the idea is to use OSS model and ideally hosted them “locally”

Took some time to get it working. Spend some time understanding how GPUI models entity ownership and also had to remember how to use flex box (for the 20th time hahaha)

Have you checked roclang?

Depend on the language and problem being / what’s implemented.

Ideally under 500.

Between 1k-2k seriously considering refactor.

Then you can use the same prompt + the generated code to generate documentation or a high level description for you PR / patch.

Similar to what (ideally you or a PM) would do to describe a task in your project management software. It forces some design exploration work and considering cases and implementation details before hand which can uncover unknowns, better scope the task and reduce hallucination.
