@legrandcourtil.bsky.social I'm going to take some photos of my daughter's garden to show what can be done with what was effectively a concrete yard in almost total shade from unpruned trees and a brick and concrete area with straggly half dead hedges. It is now full of colour.

Keep everything crossed for me. There is a still distant but definite possibility that I might get more respite time.Maybe even a whole morning through to 3.30 pm once a week.

Here's a pretty from my garden. First flower on a Madeiran echium grown from a cutting given to me by a lady when I admired it in her garden. Full of bees even on a dull windy day.

Could only watch the livestream but the drones plus music and readings are the way to go in my opinion. Fireworks were spectacular but once you've seen one lot it's a bit samey. And noisy.

Just scrubbed and hosed off garden chairs and tables. A mucky old job but glad it's done. Cushions out next but need a brave person to get those out of their bags in the shed.

I had a gardener! Was just thinking I would never see him again after weeks of waiting he turned up unannounced at 9 this morning. Family start arriving on island this evening so we will be able to sit out without risk of getting lost in the undergrowth.
