I’m thinking we can also consider pay gaps between admin and teachers, discrepancies in pay/resources in underprivileged areas vs affluent areas, and the essential role teachers play in reproducing the labor force and the social relations necessary for capitalism to function.

It seems the way the state and therefore the capitalist class organizes educational labor makes it really hard to accurately quantify the social value roles like teachers produce, which in turn makes it difficult to determine things like their rate of exploitation.
