Haven’t noticed that. When I was doing the weekly commute to Leeds I used to plug mine in for the duration and it would have less charge than when I’d plugged it in at Newcastle when I got there. Felt like I was powering the train, not it powering me

There’s one due up to Newcastle later on. There’s also one showing it’s going to Liverpool and Hull and that it splits at Man Vic but was showing as a single 80x unit. Unless it’s changed since this morning that’ll take some doing!

You must have been at Shildon when I was today. You walked under the bridge when I was up getting a view of the rail tour heading back to Darlington but wasn’t sure if it was you or not

Don’t know why TOC apps won’t just do cheapest fares to start with. The amount of people who think they have to alight at the split point and then end up on wrong trains with adv tix is crackers. Also when they split and part is anytime and part advance and folk end up on wrong train then too 🤯

By the time trainline add their booking fee, it usually ends up being more than what the saving was with ridiculously confusing split tickets 🤷♂️
