There's a slim chance of that happening. Too many oil producing nations like Russia, need the revenue to fund wars. The lower prices are the cost of doing war business.

So what actual evidence does Rebel (or anyone else) have? Anything more than innuendo and billboards?

It is plausible that the circles they travelled in would overlap. Is there any evidence of a relationship beyond a casual meeting? Did Carney or his wife visit the "island" or his house(s)? Has he been accused by the victims or has documentation of inappropriate or criminal behavour been uncovered?

And such a rising star! Such gains in a year! Such an ugly trophy, though. She deserves something that honours her achievement, not something that looks like it came out of machine shop scrap. Even as a piece of art, it is mundane, cliched and adolescent. Sorry artist, I am sure you meant well.

A more appropriate measure would be as a % of one's net worth. So if one has a net worth of $1 million, that's about $20,000...a pretty modest affair.

Ouch...prayers are with you, and I hope you get good pain meds. I have read that unsweetened lemon juice, citric acid supplements and lots and lots of water (> 2 qts/day) might aslo help.

Is the President that upset with Harvard alum, PM Carney, that he is taking it out on the University and PM's daughter?

Don't be so hard on the Bishop. He is going to where the sinners are. The righteous don't need him, sinners do.

And didn't they (the Conservatives) get their knickers in a knot over some pins that people could choose not to take or wear???
April 18, 2025 at 3:26 PM
I imagine it helps to understand if you are looking at bringing them to Catholism.

I guess you are going to need some more flower boxes! 😀 Pax vobiscum.

The conservative media pearl clutching is the height of hypocrisy. Sounds like desparation on their part.
April 14, 2025 at 1:48 PM
Or stealing candidate's signs,or generating misleading calls/polls, or redirecting funds or any of the multitude of things conservative politicians do in elections going back to John A MacD. Or liberal pols for that matter. And did they force conservatives to take the pins? Or lie about the message?

Or perhaps this answer is pretty thin gruel. His main accomplishments are getting elected and re-elected from a young age, perservered and got his BA after 10+ yrs (U Cal, with help from Athabaska U). Increased child benefits in 2015, passed the divisive Bill C-23. Definitely PM material.

Would someone please tell me after spending 20 years in the the Parliament of Canada, having been in cabinet, government and as leader of the opposition, what Pierre Poilievre's signature legislation or achievement is? Apart from questionable negative advertising, is there something beyond slogans?

Like a trade agreement with the United States is worth anything? See Australia and USMCA with Canada and Mexico. A Trump negotiated agreement is obviously worth excrement, even the very best ones.
