When we get a guest house built out west in the tiny home park, you'd be welcome to visit... for more fashion tips, obviously! 🙂

Ask me for fashion tips! You'll soon be dressed like a boringly conservative version of "Generic *Country* Lady fresh from a bake sale" ... ! 😅

"Millers blouses, stock-standard skater skirts, and a nice sun hat complete this classic (practically geriatric) look!" 👵👒

Think we might both officially be old fogeys 😅

(Although I think I prefer the term "silver vixen" for myself 🦊)

No idea, sorry!

Good to know! I am starting to see why the "run your own search engine frontend" kind of web apps exist.

Getting these kinds of filters running on anything other than desktop would be *hell*

Sadly, it's gotten very bad for many tech topics now. Beyond the LLM "answers" at the top of the results?

The first few pages are LLM-made "link spam" now. While reputable sources are not even in the first page of results.

So I just go to trusted sites now, and hope I can find what I want there.

I agree, but I'm not sure there's much choice left. Even alternative search engines like DDG put LLM "answers" in their results now.

Even if they weren't? Search algorithms don't work when a thousand LLM-written sites all link to each other. The factual signal is drowned by the made-up LLM noise.

Time to go back to our roots to counter the disinfo spread by LLMs, I suppose.

Curated lists of useful sites. As we had in the '90s. (I say in my best old lady voice 👵😅)

Use Wikipedia for your search engine. And only trust references linked from the most relevant article.

Sadly, yes.

It's not even that dire here in Queensland.

Private patients can still access puberty blockers, and Project 491 can fund that for them.

I am sure the ban will progress to a complete one, but even then? There are workarounds.

There aren't for the issues you've highlighted. These deserve attention.
