Oh, this piece? Above the fireplace? Why, that’s the commission the Master had made in honour of the DIE the RPG Image Comics edition launch, and also it mentions the new line of comics. It’s him and Kieron Gillen locked in one of their weekend-long shirtless arm-wrestling contests. Of course, poor old Mr Gillen died after that dreadful chandelier accident last autumn.

Are you tired of the same old requests from your friends and family? "Think of a number between one and six," they'll ask for the fourth time that day, and you'll have to bite back another scathing comment that would cause yet more upset. “Please,” they say, their stupid bovine eyes shining dewy and feckless, “and don’t say five again. You’ve been relying on five too much recently.” We get it. We’re tired too. So if you want to avoid the arduous task of imagining what a number could be within strictly defined parameters for those around you, why not treat those dullards to a set of what we’re calling Dice?

Dice (singular Die for reasons we will not explain) come in the familiar cube shape that fans of boxes and brunoise vegetable preparation will already know and love. Each side of this cube is adorned with a number between one and six, and they’re all there folks - no skipping the “boring” numbers like three, or the much-reviled two. Warts and all, every single digit between one and six inclusive can be found on these easy-to-carry objects that will fit right in your glove compartment, pocket or nose.

some pretty dice MEAT: Fascist or resistance fighter, mortal or vampire, dog or cat: at the end of the day, we’re all made out of meat. (Technically Cosgrave is made of sawdust, leather and old spiders, but he started out as meat.) And so is this dice, in a Ceci Un Pipe sort of way: audaciously colourful guts and various other red-pink offals sit coquettishly beneath lurid yellow numerics. TEETH: Teeth. Teeth. TEETH. TEETH! *starts pounding table* TEETH! TEETH! TEETH! That’s right: this charming random number generator features upwards of twenty-five teeth, which is only a few less than the adult average of 32. Maybe the remainder are towards the middle.

Here is my review of the Bikky Burger: I was not drunk enough to enjoy the Bikky Burger. There was something of the battered sausage about it. It was a deep-fried pustule of a thing, the wet innards kept in check by a thin buffer of protein around the outside, and were it not for the aggressive use of mustard, relish and pickles on the bun it would have tasted like chewing on hot kitchen roll. I found out that Bikky Burgers contained horse meat, something which I have never knowingly eaten, and I was excited to give it a go; I would like to now formally apologise to the horse whose hooves and scrotum were severed and ground into paste to pad out my dinner.

Heart scenario design is tricky but fun; you need to keep things absurd but grounded, tragic but wonderful, daft but disgusting. To that end I have written a world-ending adventure which focuses around one (1) bee
HOOK A decrepit Deep Apiarist approaches the delvers and speaks: the walls between worlds are thinner than ever, and the crimson undoing that splinters the real will soon arise and destroy us all. They press a single bee (very gently) into your hand, casting a rheumy eye around themselves as they do, and beseech you to take this Queen to an empty hive beside Wardstone Nasonov (Heart, pXX) - and from there she will reinforce the wards that sustain the universe. “Worry not,” they croak, “for I will be with you every step of the way,” whereupon they drop dead and a hundred bees swarm out of their mouth and ears. You hear a shout from across the cavern - “There! They have it!” - and someone opens fire. Someone else returns fire from behind you. It seems like this is a very important bee.
