The hair was TOO perfect. It looked the same in every scene, every action set piece, every time he did anything, the hair stayed the same. Henry's wig would flow. It was part of the character. It told its own story. Liam's kept reminding me I'm watching a show, and that pretty much sums up season 4.

nothing infuriated me more than Geralt's wig. The suit on Liam looked like it didn't fit, but the wig was the absolute worst contender. It was distracting. The poor man is putting his heart into every scene, and all I see are Katara's hair loopies from Avatar: The Last Air Bender.

That said, this season introduces the novel's least likable characters, The Rats, and I kept checking out. I didn't care for them, I knew what one of them did, which I'm glad they didn't go to far, but still, and I just couldn't wait till they were out of the picture, but...

I love the Witcher books, I hope I can play the games soon, but this series started off strong and has slowly fizzled into a shell of itself despite the rising stakes. I'm very invested in Ciri's story, and I just want to see how the show ends for all of my favorites.

The other new comers, especially Laurence Fishborne, do well with what they've got. I swear thisbshow would be 10x better if it just had some more polishing. The padded episodes are extremely noticeable, the pacing is all over the place, and the effects range from good to "time crunch."

The rest of the cast is fine. I've heard the complaints about Aya Chorlota (I hope I spelled that right), but they all amount to, "She's not pretty enough," and I don't see it. She's emotional and carries a lot of the emotional weight of the show. With better writing, she'd be amazing.
