I’m a bit surprised because Frank never seemed very keen on Eccles. But I reckon we can trust him to sort a decent midfield. And hopefully this means some cash to (very quickly) fix the hole at the back too

But like you i have no real interest in the PL itself. The only top-flight season i enjoyed anywhere near as much as the last few years was the Keane and Hadji one. And I found the PL a lot more exciting then than I do now.

For me it’s about completing a cycle - it would be finally coming good on the ‘we’ll be back’ promise, and it would also draw the line under the Robins chapter that it deserves. I’d like us to win something again. And a chance at financial stability would be nice.
