This photo used to annoy me; so hard to get cos of the freezing January gale- felt like my hands were being bitten off by angry weasels - but the photo is just a bit grey. But I doubt I’ll get to see something like it again, so I’ve come to appreciate it just for the memory.

Thought I’d try and dig out some old photos I’d forgotten about. Here’s one of the stone ship setting at Bække / Klebbæk Høje, not far from Ribe in Denmark. The perspective here kind of squishes it ,so I kind of binned it, but I like it now as it’s kind of atmospheric. Well worth a visit.

If there’s anyone out there who’s not been yet, if you visit #Whitby Abbey do stop at St Mary’s church on the steps down to town- really interesting church and churchyard in a stunning setting. (I kind of like it better than the abbey)
