I have no dog in this fight. Don't own Bitcoin, don't intend to.

But here's my question:

If you think the price will pretty much perpetually increase, it would be foolish to ever buy anything with Bitcoin.

So how is it money?

This is a view that I've held for quite a while. Unfortunately, it absolutely worked for the right. They convinced people that the mainstream media was "biased", and in the process got many to exclusively obtain their information from some of the most one-sided and unreliable sourcing possible.

Given a long enough timeline, things really will be fine.
