A Large White caterpillar with Cotesia glomerata cocoons is a victim of a parasitic wasp. The wasp lays its eggs inside the caterpillar, which then hatch and develop by feeding on the caterpillar's internal tissues, eventually exiting to form a cluster of cocoons nearby.

Feeing sad, I had some beautiful Great Tit fledglings on the feeders, the a crow and a magpie took them. Is it best not to fill the feeders this time of year?
