i am so lucky. i live a really beautiful little life. i have a safe, cosy home with a partner who adores me and looks after me that is just a few minutes away from my mum. i can cook lovely food and turn on the heating without worrying too much about the cost.

I’m sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Eman. Before this she stayed home with her children Nabil, 7, Muhammad, 4 and Taim, 2 and her husband was a barber. Her husband was shot in the foot trying to get aid and Nabil is suffering from severe skin infections from contaminated water.

Over 2000 families in Gaza have been completely erased from the civil registry- Shima and her two sisters are the only surviving members of her family preventing this from happening to them- and they are stuck in the North where it is very dangerous
I’m sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Shima. Shima is 24 and was studying graphic design before this. In December of 2023 she lost most of her family in an airstrike- only her and her sisters Basma, 29 and Noor, 21 survived the strike and they had significant injuries.
