I saw someone wear one the other day, but didn't get the chance to ask where they got it. These are amazing! ❤️

The latter has to change. I think Germany has had a fascism problem for a very long time, but the amount of people normalizing this shit and fascists verbally/physically assaulting people unchallenged is insane to me. 25 years ago, people didn't just avert their eyes and let this happen unopposed.

Fascists are everywhere here and they have become so comfortable being vocal about exactly who they are. It's sad that I was surprised that the fascist at Aldi got dragged outside and is not allowed to return to the store. Most of the time, people do not step in and help.

Sickening! My friend was taking a train (Bavaria) when a lady walked up to her, spat in her face & told her to go back to where she came from. A student of mine was told the same thing/berated while shopping at Aldi. In my friend's case, nobody intervened, in my student's case, ppl thankfully did.

Unfortunately, that's probably exactly it. I'm afraid everything will get much worse before it gets better.

Exactly. Also, at this point, agents must know of the potential backlash & inform clients before they sign up for any of her projects. I just picture them going "Ah well, it'll blow over" (for them) w/o ever considering the people they're harming. It's an annoyance to them rather than a deterrent.

The disdain in her voice. "Trans people should just try harder to get along with their oppressors, so we can earn money in peace without having to be held accountable for indirectly funding anti-trans legislation." At this point, I can't imagine that they're unaware of the harm JK has been causing.

The poverty bs & her whining about her security having to be tightened are maddening. Where's that concern when it comes to the trans people she goes after who don't have the privilege of hiding in their castle/paying for 24/7 security, because a billionaire made trying to eradicae them her hobby.

What a lovely thing to do for her. She looks so beautiful! ❤️

I hope you get to do the MRI!! I'm allergic to contrast, so I'm stuck with the mammogram. ; )

Completely agree!

Also wanted to add that there's always the option of tomosynthesis or a breast MRI if you're too afraid of the pain.

Just had one and, for me, there was pressure, but no pain. You're put in weird positions, so it's awkward. I was told to avoid caffeine (increases breast tenderness) and, if I were afraid of pain, to take an otc pain reliever. Maybe it helps to know that you can take sth to make it more bearable?

The Space Cat finally arrived in Germany yesterday! I'm already enjoying Periwinkle's adventure so very much. Here's a little pic of my dogs for your collection. : )

Maybe take your own advice. Kindness does indeed not cost a thing. If your trauma response was to tell yourself to get a grip and it somehow worked - good for you. You're not Beth or a therapist and projecting your own experience onto someone you don't know is neither kind nor helpful.

Reading this made me smile. I've been masking since the beginning, too (wife is high risk) and the stares and comments do get to me sometimes. Every little positive interaction I read about or get to experience myself makes me feel so much less alone in this.
