One little detail they missed in Pluribus, everybody's dogs would still be following them around.

This Jon batiste album is the best of the year for me. I didn't even like it at first but every song on here is my favorite song.

Maybe Cuomo was too busy dressing his burns from Mamdani's speech.
Zohran Mamdani says on NY1 he didn't get a congratulatory call from either Andrew Cuomo or Eric Adams last night.

He says he got a congratulatory call from Curtis Sliwa, though.

The AI thing might be a bubble, but it is absolutely not nothing. The way I work has been totally transformed in the last 6 months. Shit that used to take me weeks take me hours now.

Went for an accidentally long drive last night.
On the way home from PA I lost a bunch of radio stations all at once, but found one playing pearl jam.

Song ends, long gap, DJ comes on and starts ... not exactly fumbling, but not polished DJ bit about the story of those songs.

It was amazing.

So,
I never got rid of my records and I kept I one of my turntables but,
The needle had been worn out for a while and,
I never really liked the receiver that we had that much.

Was in Montréal recently and went into a record shop called

Aux 33

They had vintage audio in the back. I treated myself.

I feel like there's an AI opportunity that Apple is missing where if they just made their voice to text and AutoCorrect actually work well that would be a tremendous quality of life upgrade with their devices

One of the good parts of middle age is already having the tools you need for the home improvement job.

I did not previously have an opinion of Lululemon. I have now, however, an actively negative opinion. www.cbsnews.com/news/lululem...
Lululemon sues Costco, alleging the retailer copied its designs
Lululemon is accusing Costco of stealing from its "path-breaking" brand by selling dupes of its sweatshirts, jackets and pants.

Lindsay and Stevie got all the attention but man, John and especially Christine were Fleetwood Mac for me.

Any "engagement" metric is a cancer and is ultimately anti-user.
April 12, 2025 at 4:04 PM
Product, design, and frontend people - the shit with the popups to point out your new feature or the new nav or the default that you changed or whatever it is that you thirstily need me to engage with HAS GOT TO STOP. I know how to use the internet, leave me tf alone!

1980s DeKalb county GA, public school lunch had these pizzas that were a big sheet pan, with perforations for slices into right triangle shapes. Lunch lady would tear off slices. Some were crisp, the slightly undercooked ones were my fav. Sure could go for one of those right now.
