So true! Except then I inevitably get overwhelmed and rebel against my own system and ignore it for days or weeks, use it to shame spiral, then eventually come back and change the system only to start the whole process over again 😆😅🤣📝✅

I feel that!! You're not alone.

I have learned that in those moments I HAVE to start with regulating my nervous system to get out of Fight/Flight/Fawn mode (i.e. your "paralyzation" "locked in" and "can't start").

I love box breathing bc it includes sight, touch, sound, and breathing. 🟦🫁

It is SO FREEING to have scientific data to make your experiences (read: frustrations) make sense. So much easier to be compassionate with yourself.
And it's empowering to find solutions and tools that really help. To learn to work WITH your brain instead of against it.

Boo. Heard broth with garlic helps. 🍲🧄 And tea with real lemon squeezed into it. 🍵 🍋 And hot showers with vapo steamers if you've got this nasty cough thing going around. Get lots of rest!
