If they can ban access to healthcare like puberty blockers for one group of people, they can do this with any healthcare for their next target. They will ban abortion again given the chance and they will come after contraception after that. The anti-choice movement is our govt right now. #nzpol

Now most of you probably know the story about the pea and the princess...but have you heard about the lesbian and the macadamia nut.

Had a nutty snack before my nap just couldn't get comfy then realised I was laying on a macadamia

Yesterday I disturbed a blackbird fledging (still has baby beak) digging in the jigsaw puzzle we are doing on table. This was not helpful at all and now I have just seen it hopping off along the deck railinf with a puzzle piece in its beak which is even less useful

I guess we are officially the resistance now.

My in-box has been red-hot this morning with people asking what they can do.

Word on the street is that there will be a legal challenge mounted quickly. Contribute to any fundraiser for that.

This is just a temporary setback.

Excellent thread
This is an easy flower for beginning a seedsaving journey. It's Calendula. And it's one where you can actually watch the seeds as they develop.

It’s the time of the year (Summer) when the Pōhutukawa trees (also called New Zealand Christmas Trees) begin to bloom. Most bloom brilliant red flowers but this gorgeous beast blooms bright yellow.
This is how it looked this afternoon. 💛
