Saw this at the beginning of the year with all the snarky "Remember Y2K hysteria? All that effort for nothing" articles, when the reason it was "nothing" was _because_ of all the effort. The idea that not giving a shit is a sign of sophistication is toxic.

He's one of the worst "must needs" offenders. That weird construct fantasy writers thrown in to make their characters sound medievally. I'm sure if you charted his use through the ASOIAF books it's a steep upward slope. That and the trenchers.

Not talking about doctors. AMA creates scarcity to keep pay high but that's another topic. This is about nurses, allied health, med techs etc. Significant number of those spots filled by H1B and won't be a quick replacement if they are gone.
