the feds left in early november and the actions in question have ceased in the chicago area, so continuing a case which was seeking an injunction to limit those actions by that party in that location wouldn't make much sense. the desired outcome of this case was achieved.

but also, as an artist, i'm under no obligation to cater to your short attention span. i am confident enough in my work, and not beholden to the bottom line of a record label, that i have the choice to express myself clearly and comprehensively

i remember radiohead doing one long audio file with a release and people complaining, even going as far as to make fan edits that split it into tracks, and... fine, go for it, engage with the music in a way that makes sense to you as a listener. as the artist i'm not gonna wrestle with you on this

i released an experimental album last year as one 30:00 "track" rather than broken into 3-5 min portions and i'm planning on doing the same again soon

“I want to make music, but I don’t have the talent”

YOU DON’T KNOW THAT until you actually try to do the thing

Don’t give up on yourself and outsource the work to a computer

Plenty of great music has been made by people who “couldn’t sing” or “couldn’t play”

Emphasis on MADE

I believe in my heart that anyone and everyone who wants to make music should do, regardless of their skill level, with whatever tools they have available

But I emphasize the word “MAKE”

Open your mouth, grab your instrument, make a sound, and do it over and over again until it sounds good to you

i was going to make a lazy "My Humps" reference here but instead i will share these lyrics, which i never listened to enough of the song to experience:
