TTRPG Sicko. Rumors say they write with no compunction, with a complete lack of regard for what an innocent reader may see...
And speaking of #TheElectrumArchive Here is my latest blog post reviewing both the system and the introductory scenario "The Grafter's Tomb"

Some of the best Dungeon Crawling I've run at the table, and it may be for you too! #TTRPG

Running an impromptu follow up to a one shot of #TheElectrumArchive tonight. The PC's are exploring the City of Bones in search of an extinct House's ceremonial dagger (paid for by the Electrum Archive itself of course).

Raiders, Warlocks, & Rockclaws (Gorilla/Hyena hybrids) abound!

Played "THE END OG THE WORLD" for the first time, we had to deal with an alien invasion. The scariest part?

You play as yourself & your starting inventory is what you have on you!!!

MY THURDAY PLAYERS LOOK AWAY, CLOUD EMPRESS SPOILERS ABOUT!!!

Going back to prep a scenario I wrote at the top of December to run session 2 tonight. Anyone else use notecards as pop-outs to add notes to notebook pages that are already full?

Ran a wild session of #DrawSteel last night.

The bandit queen escaped the heroes' ambush and woke up the rest of the camp. They had to fight their way out through a sea of bandits, and they burned the whole camp to the ground before the fight was done. The troubadour died! (She got better)

In 2025 I managed to run and play in a combined 100 sessions of #ttrpgs. I don't know that I can honestly say it was a profound experience, but I certainly do have a few ideas about what makes a number like that possible and what we hope to find in play.
Lessons from my year of 100 sessions

Down a player this week in my Thursday night group so I'm taking the opportunity to run a one shot of The Electrum Archive! Last time I ran The Grafter's Tomb it was the smoothest dungeon crawl experience I've had at the table.

Now let's see if I can replicate that experience online!

Restructuring a campaign and gaming group tonight.

It's exciting when a game that has been starting to get stale feels fresh again!

The main barrier between humanity and a Balatro TTRPG is figuring the way to do conflict/combat without making a bunch of players sit around watching one person at a time play solitaire.

If the exact events of the CW's Riverdale took place in a season of Dimension 20 (or other popular actual play show) it would be celebrated as one of the greatest pieces of media of all time.

After a busy year of roleplaying, I've made my fair share of characters. As a matter of fact, I'm starting to get tired of it.

Infomercial voice: There HAS to be a better way!

And maybe there is... Here are my thoughts:
Towards Better Character Creation

Tonight is the night of my 100th #TTRPG session of the year!

My original Goal was just to play more games in general, but when I was 8 away at the start of December, I abandoned my typical "No game scheduling around the holidays" mentality to get it over the finish line!
