Countries that started to lean toward the right - looking at Snow Mexico (Canada) and Australia - swung left during their last elections, after their citizens saw Trump in action. So it's true, every dark cloud has a silver lining. Trump and his SSS agh I mean ICE is bad news for all democracy.

Even *if* you accept Stephen Miller’s (textually, historically, and morally indefensible) claim that undocumented immigrants are not entitled to due process, you’d *still* need due process to ensure that the individuals at issue are, in fact, undocumented.

I was just told that I have to remove “climate” from the title of an ongoing grant if I want to keep it. And publications from that grant cannot include “climate” and other forbidden words. I can’t believe I’m writing this from the United States of America. #AcademicSky

Scam call centers in India love Kentucky! The people in that state had become so gullible - blame criminally-minded immoral politicians like dear Mitch for repeating lies so often that it became truth - that they will fall for any new lie, scam, and conspiracy theory.
Mitch McConnell is retiring after 40 years of working hard to make Kentucky one of the poorest, most under-educated, and unhealthy states in the US.
