This barn in a San Rafael backyard, was built in 1850. There aren't many structures that old to be found in Marin.

I saw this little construction robot and thought this must be brand new tech, but not really. Researching it, learned it is tamping the soil down. It's very heavy and vibrates. If you had to have your hands on it to drive it they'd go numb and you'd risk nerve damage. So it works by remote control.

Hello Kitty luggage. For Free? A spot near my building people leave good stuff they are tossing. Usually plants or kitchen stuff. But someone dropped off a very large Hello Kitty suitcase. Is this extremely valuable and wanted? A lot of girls I know went crazy over anything Hello Kitty. #HelloKitty

Five bags of groceries for only $43. I'm doing something right by buying soup, cereal, and soda only when on sale. Food prices have definitely skyrocketed under Trump, but #Safeway still has deals on a lot of my snacks. (The Sociables Crackers were the most expensive individual thing, surprisingly.)

Second hand of MahJong I ever played, and I got a 4 of a kind with East Wind, which I was the dealer for, plus three flowers. I turned a pung into a kong. No, I really don't know what most of that means, but I have to go off how impressed the woman teaching us to play was. #MarinMahjong

On Friday the 28th of March, they had a party at my local Lexus dealership. And talking with the salesmen, they said they had several people who had only been thinking of getting a new car, but now rushed to do so because of the threat of 25% Tariffs on new cars. @lexususa.bsky.social

This is the blackest car I have ever seen. The photo isn't doing it justice. It seemed to absorb the light around it. It's apparently some type of special paint.

I'm not saying what I bought that had this warning. But it is a very good example of a bad English translation on Asian packaging.

The traffic light near the middle of the pic was turned 90 degrees to the right from heavy wind, so that cars coming off of this freeway exit had a green light and a red light. Very dangerous!! (It had been turned back before I took this photo.)

I just finished watching the second season of "Slow Horses" last night. And everything being said about the quality of that show is true. A spy story that manages to feel original. Slightly funny, slightly depressing, & keeps us trying to figure out what twist is happening before the characters do.

One of these finally appeared in my neighborhood. Up close it really does look like something a child would design. It looks like a badly thought up toy.
