I take it back, sorry. It seems he wasn't banned (AFAIK). the issue appears to be that he *hasn't been banned yet*. Numerous mentions of the ToS being changed to avoid banning him, despite his transphobia and harrassment.

This is all slathered in caveat sauce ofc.
It's just what I've gleaned from reading other people's comments on it, so it could be at least partially innaccurate.

I've been trying to find out this morning also. As fas as I can make out, a transphobe/right-wing figure (name unknown) has been allowed back onto the platform after being banned, and bsky have changed the ToS to allow that, despite this person's continued awfulness.

Back when I was a teacher (90s) a kid came to the staff-room door yelling that another kid was being beaten up. A teacher asked "Who is it?" and was told it was a kid we all knew to be a malicious little sod. We all looked at each other and said in unison, "We'll be out in a minute".
