It’s shitty and no one should drive or bike dangerously, but there is a real issue of unequal justice when only one form of transportation is the target of strict law enforcement. Especially when that form is more accessible to everybody and objectively less dangerous than the dominant alternative

I think it has to do more with a frustration over the fact that as a society we are constantly excusing dangerous driver behaviour (which is much more deadly and poses a much greater threat to public safety) but crack down HARD on dangerous behaviour by cyclists.
