Oh boy is that true! I once spent a weekend doing an employment test, only to find out they already knew who they were going to hire, and they were only interviewing people to fulfill government regulations.

It looks like most of the trash is related to alcohol consumption, which is the actual problem. Drunk people don't clean up after themselves.

I don't see why not. I have that CD set, and the Jeff Lynne Idle Race is full of quirky, catchy tunes. Very much a product of it's time, but most music is. There's nothing for him to be embarrassed by.

Yeah, we could also have a thousand Ted Bundys. But I guess that doesn't matter to him, since adult men aren't usually the targets of serial killers.

The art and character designs look great, but I am so sick of the 'if you want something bad enough and try really hard it will happen no matter what" trope in animation I could puke.

For more cat POV books that most of you probably never heard of. Some of these are very old, some are newer. The Abandoned and Jennie are the same book with different titles.

Checking my books, you are quite right! I got confused because there's some good photos of the bird that made me think the date was later.

Is that the laughing owl? You might want to double-check the extinction date--I thought it was in the 20s or 30s.

Too bad all the sequels sucked, both movie and prose. In the very early Rowrbrazzles, Steve Gallacci was doing a sequel called Children of NIMH. Lightyears better than anything 'professionally' produced.
