I remember the dead of night
A lonely light that shines
Upon the window
I see it all so clear
The tenderness, the silent tears
Out here in the pouring rain
Through cold dark waiting days
I see you standing there
I see the big wheels turnin'
Never endin', on and on they go
(wrong lyrics, I know!)

More old art--Morrissey's Every Day is Like Sunday. The pier in the background is Redondo Beach pier. I used to go walking and biking there a lot.

During a long period of unemployment I had to do a metric ton of commissions to make ends meet. Here's a very small sampling.

A couple of older cross-over pics I did--the first with David Hopkin's Drip Rat (the people at that Karaoke bar better applaud if they know what's good for them), and then one with @ebonyleopard.bsky.social Extinctioners characters.

Loved these as a kid! Outdated scientifically, of course, but who cares?

The quote more in context. (not my original image--I downloaded it some time ago)

A music comic me and David Hopkins did a while ago, using some characters from his Jack webcomic. I'm the huge #muse fan, Dave not so much, but he was a good sport about indulging my obsession.

For more cat POV books that most of you probably never heard of. Some of these are very old, some are newer. The Abandoned and Jennie are the same book with different titles.

For the newer followers, a reminder that I still have these three Jack Salem books available from the Kickstarter I did a few years ago. (plus the pin on the bottom!) They all contain stories that have not and will not be posted online.

It has multiple meanings. Beyond the obvious (the note Russell wrote to Sharkan-eet) it also means learning to view something a different way, and is a nod to the Pink Floyd song this illo is from, which I drew long before most of you were born.

OMG, some brand-new art! Prehistoric shark Aquilolamna.

I never ever win anything on these, but I'd been meaning to follow you anyways, so...

Photographing some stuff going on EBay, and of course the kittens decided they had to supervise the activity.

Another favorite of mine, a kind of surreal adaptation of The Man Who Sold the World, using a couple characters from the Griffin Ranger books. Yes, I know it's a Bowie song, but the Nirvana version inspired me to do this.

I'm not sure what to put up for my first post, so here's a piece of my art that I'm particularly fond of: The Alphabet of Very Obscure Mammals.
