The first Grey Cup was played.
The game was between Toronto Varsity and Toronto Parkdale Canoe Club. Played at Rosedale Field in Toronto in front of 3,807 fans, it was won by Toronto Varsity by a score of 26-6. Due to Earl Grey, the Governor General, forgetting to place an order to have the Cup made, it was not presented until March 1910.
