Unfortunately, like all history deemed too "difficult" to swallow, it often gets swept aside, mentioned in passing with faint emphasis, and excused as nothing too traumatizing. At least, in my life, that is how it was approached. I had to learn on my own time about what we've allowed in recent past.

I am sure some of the people you don't understand and don't agree with have mental illness, but so do some of the ones you do agree with. Illness can happen to everyone and is not an excuse to treat others as sub human. Believing propaganda is not illness. It is called being manipulated.

If you use mental illness to explain away all that you hate about someone and that this can be bred out or that these genes can somehow be deleted, then congratulations: You are talking about eugenics and actively supporting it. Many of the same excuses for racism are also there for the disabled.

Careful now, that is approaching eugenics territory. It just isn't how humans work and that puts out a bad precedent for how to treat the mentally ill.

No. It is the response to being assaulted. So using a gun in self defense is fine unless it is against the government? People really need to open their eyes. Next we will see them shaming people for fighting back against ICE in a more meaningful way. Disgusting.

To be fair, people are allowed to hate things and it isn't really anyone else's business why. In this case though, to hate a people in general, there is probably a reason. Abuse is a damn good reason. People are allowed to feel things.
