My wife and I drove an hour and a half down to the Peoria Riverfront Museum to see the Jim Henson exhibit they have running. It was amazing to get to see so many of the puppets in person. It was such a great experience, even though I had to hobble my way around with a cane to see it.

My girl, River, now 7 months old, sitting in a cart at the petstore. She's a lot of work, she's loud, she needs training (starts tomorrow), but I dreamed of having a corgi my whole life. I'm so thankful that my wife worked so hard to make sure we could get her.

My wife was lamenting AI image generating apps not being able to make a tri-color corgi look like a corgi and instead making one look like a cat. I entered a prompt into a different one and made a fictionalized rendering of our current corgi puppy with our 2.5 yr old dog as a puppy. Makes me happy.

Dare I say, Walk Hard shows respect for the biopics and the genre of country music from the 50s-70s. That movie does not get the respect it deserves.
