so i’m rewatching Twin Peaks and i forgot how much people just… don’t really act like people a lot of the time. and it’s definitely on purpose, which gives the show a very strange, surreal feel.

i have gotten past the water damage in my copy of House of Leaves, which means i’m further than i normally get on attempted re reads
i’m also actually going through The Whalstoe Letters intermittently instead of leaving them for the end, which is i think a better way of doing it

So, local cops conducted a warrantless search of Luigi's backpack, realized they screwed up, admitted it on camera, put the backpack in a patrol car NOT sealed in an evidence bag (an 11 minute drive with no bodycam footage available), then searched the backpack again at the station and "found" a gun
