Counter-hot-take: nobody really knows why games sell at all.

One moment we think we figured it out and the other something like Flappy Bird comes out.

Then we think we got it again, and Among Us starts selling 1.5 years after the release.

Then we think AAA got it and they release Concord.
Everyone trying to work out why video games aren’t selling anymore — “Too many games? Prices are too low? Marketing is hard?” — when the answer this time around is actually simple:

The world got *fucked* and no-one has any money

People are struggling to pay bills and rent, let alone buy your game

Just finished Season: A Letter to the Future. Discovering the world and keeping it from being forgotten, filing a diary for people in the future to read, making photos, recording sounds, talking with interesting characters, exploring… it’s fun to experience cozy games, such a different perspective ☺️
