It’s a challenge for me. I have no idea what I’m getting from him — could be amazing, could be just a guy. I just don’t want to bank a SB on what he may be. The D has serious issues.

We have 17, I need to explode with pts. Can’t stand this TO margin talk from McD. Use his skills and pressure.

They don’t have a WR that can separate. It’s a major issue.

CBs aren’t good enough as a group.

Two killer areas

Why? The two hours existed and it was a horrible plan — assuming there was a plan.

First drive of 2H was great though

Agreed

First drive of the second half, and they show purpose and a plan. Like the throws in 2&short and 2& goal from outside the 4.
Typically these were Cook up the middle for little gain.

Way to attack!!

No & it shouldn’t be. My point is the D needs to be better & they need a WR that can separate.

They can’t expect to win against good teams if they can’t stop them or force Allen to hold the ball longer. Maybe Hairston helps the D.

Paying 17 doesn’t mean you can ignore everything else. Help him.

I see your pov but in that case defense doesn’t matter? Giving up 40,50, all good? Scoring 29 in a champ game *should* get you a W.

Have a secondary that could get a 3/4th down stop & this wouldn’t be a convo.
Having the ball w/ WRs that can’t separate will yield similar results in the future.

That’s why we had the ball “needing” to score.
Gave up 32 and forced 2 punts. Not a formula I want to live by.
What’s better? Either having a lead in the closing minutes of a game or not giving up 32.

“Hope that helps”? Helps what? Can you not let someone have a different opinion than yours?

No, but to be a champion it shouldn’t be an obvious sludge. Right now it is. They’re still a top 4 team, but these holes will doom them.

Everyone critiqued me last year when I said the secondary wasn’t good enough. It lost them the AFC game.
Just calling as I see it. I hope I’m wrong.

Yes, and no. Yes, a W is a W & they will be healthier, but it didn't look easy: tipped passes caught by other WRs, a random fumble when running out the clock, & mismanagement by the opposing coach. Those are breaks, not strategy.

To be fair, Balt was also missing players—they'll be better as well.
