I missed a couple days of the #30DayMapChallenge but it was seriously because I was working on a big map project and reading academic articles about deep mapping. Anyway here's one of my favorite places.

There have been no independent confirmations of his supposed years at sea, but this book published during May's lifetime seems pretty credible.

Your dad was Jim Mason! Too cool. I have his dissertation, it's amazing. Yeah, often hard to separate the man from the myth around here.
