Modern lineup construction overwhelmingly supports batting your best hitter second, so Harper's (apparent) hesitation is surprising to me

I don't mind Schwarber / Harper back-to-back, even against LHP. I do understand not wanting to create a scenario where Schwarber doesn't hit in the first inning

I know it's not real #analysis but... the "[Harper's] started his slow decline from his prime" line is just patently false.

The thing about Bellinger's (perceived?) lack of hard contact is that it seems like *at least part* of it is intentional. He seems to have a much more contact-oriented two-strike approach these days.

Trading out Wrigley Field for Citizens Bank Park (overlayed in spray chart below) would also help
