Branding is back!

In 2025, brand marketing will be the growth lever that matters most. Why? Because algorithms have perfected the art of optimizing for every last click and conversion. Building a strong, memorable brand will be back in vogue to create new demand and capture attention.

In 2025, stop giving up so early. You know what I am talking about. That blog post, initiative, or idea that you tired once, or twice? Keep going. Make 2025 about commitment, iteration, and persistence.

Exceed expectations

If you give them what they paid for, it will be forgettable. If they get what they imagined, it will be memorable. But if you blow their mind, it will be unforgettable. Do that.

Control the narrative

Get out in front of the narrative and control it. Do not let others define it for you. State your case on your owned and operated channels. Go direct and communicate directly.

10/ Be remarkable or be forgotten

"Be so good they can't ignore you." - Steve Martin
December 9, 2024 at 6:45 PM
9/ Go small to go big

Start with a focused niche where you can dominate completely. It's better to be a giant in a small pond than irrelevant in an ocean. Once you've mastered your corner, expansion comes naturally. The riches are in the niches.
December 9, 2024 at 6:45 PM
8/ Captivate, don't just capture

You can’t just aim to grab attention. You must hold it. Anyone can capture eyeballs for a moment, but true success comes from creating experiences that make people want to stay, engage, and return.
December 9, 2024 at 6:44 PM
7/ Be BOLD

Bold isn't noise. Bold isn't flash. Bold isn't following the crowd while claiming disruption. Bold is being yourself.
December 9, 2024 at 6:44 PM
6/ Differentiate or die

Replace your logo with your competitor's. Would anyone notice? If not, you've got a problem. Standing out isn't a tactic. It's survival.
December 9, 2024 at 6:44 PM
5/ Less is more

Stop trying to stuff ten messages into one ad. Stop writing novels in your email subjects. Stop cramming every feature into your homepage. The human brain is already overwhelmed. Your job is to simplify, not complicate. Say one thing well instead of ten things poorly.
December 9, 2024 at 6:44 PM
4/ Make it memorable or forget about it

Being forgettable is a death sentence for a business. If people can't remember your message five minutes after seeing it, you've wasted your time and money. Make it stick. Make it shareable. Make it memorable.
December 9, 2024 at 6:43 PM
3/ Narrative storytelling sells

Facts tell, stories sell. Humans are wired for stories. We remember them, share them, and connect with them. Want to sell enterprise software? Tell the story of how it saved someone's job. Want to sell running shoes? Tell the story of someone's first marathon.
