In June 2024 I took advantage of a sale price plus a free customization offer to buy a Yeti cup. But it never arrived. After a month, Yeti agreed it had been lost by UPS and sent a free replacement. Over this weekend, the original arrived, and now I have duplicate Yetis.

I'm not a football fan, so I didn't watch Kendrick Lamar's Super Bowl halftime show before Monday on YouTube. It's as brilliant visually as it is musically. And I'm sure one person at the game must have found it VERY subversive.

While in Arizona last month I drove up from Phoenix to Flagstaff for the grand opening of the new Astronomy Discovery Center at Lowell Observatory. Wow. You don't have to be a space geek like me to be fascinated by what's one of the best facilities of its type in the U.S.

Christmas decorations up, Christmas music playing. At Sky Harbor in Phoenix on November 18th. It may make me seem Grinchy, but I think the airport is rushing the season.
