I saw a black swan on the River Adur today. Apparently it’s unusual to see them in the wild. Also after a cursory google I couldn’t see anything about them hanging out with white swans. Anyone got any swan knowledge to enlighten me?

Went to the Brighton | West Hame game with my nephews. 92nd minute winning wonder goal. My nephews knew what to do, they were down in the hoardings celebrating. Being the responsible uncle I thought I best follow. Spot the over excited designer in sunglasses screaming with joy in Estupiñán face 😅

Oh god. I don't want to learn a new UI that has been slagged off for the past year. I can't believe I was so in love with Figma in 2022. What a fall from grace.

Well, sometimes brands take a while to change over the branding so potentially the jar was bought in the 00's but unlikely. I did more Googling! Sainsburys have a product archive. This is the same jar and it was dated as a product from 1989! www.sainsburyarchive.org.uk/catalogue/se...

I visited 1000 logos as they have a great archive on old brand logos. The logo on the jar is capitalised and has an apostrophe which matches the Sainsburys logo used between 1960 and 1999! Is this jar actually from the 20th century? 1000logos.net/sainsburys-l...

My Nan is always trying to palm stuff off on me. I think she's Swedish death cleaning.
Anyway, today she asked if I wanted a jar of juniper berries.
Obviously I had no need for them but I was amazed by the branding. I have never seen a green Sainsburys logo before. Just how old was this jar?

My mate dug out a video of us skim boarding when we were 15, we made a 30 second video for our skim crew.
I think this must have been the first logo I ever designed. TBF it’s not terrible! I didn’t know at that time I wanted to become a graphic designer, I just loved messing around in photoshop.
