Always remember to get up slowly after sit-ups. Otherwise you’ll have to chill ride out the insufferable cramps in front of the rest of the gym

I saw a black swan on the River Adur today. Apparently it’s unusual to see them in the wild. Also after a cursory google I couldn’t see anything about them hanging out with white swans. Anyone got any swan knowledge to enlighten me?

We'd never done something like this before. It was exhausting, loud and by the afternoon my introvertness was screaming. But it was also great fun. Met lots of lovely people and made some great connections. I need to push myself to do events more often.
Last Friday we were at Evolve 25 in Brighton. Super proud to sponsor and exhibit the event. Here's a picture of us in our cute little booth.

They say designing your own portfolio is the hardest.

It is.

We had only launched our previous portfolio a year ago but we were not content.

This time round we treated ourselves like the client. We focussed on the end user and our business goals to come up with something that cooks.
We've got a new website and we're pretty chuffed with it. What do you think? www.goodlookingdesign.co.uk

Started a new contract today. Spent the whole day getting setup within the company. Microsoft’s shitscape of products are so bloated and buggy. My MacBook now feels diseased

I’ve not checked out Figma sites yet but I’m confident it’s going to be an MVP of early 2023 Framer.

The horse bolted already mate

Went to the Brighton | West Hame game with my nephews. 92nd minute winning wonder goal. My nephews knew what to do, they were down in the hoardings celebrating. Being the responsible uncle I thought I best follow. Spot the over excited designer in sunglasses screaming with joy in Estupiñán face 😅

Seen a load of posts about new chat gpt 4 render engine so just took this photo whilst in the gym with a simple prompt and wow!

The creative field will need to adapt to utilise these tools or we’ll be left behind!

Oh god. I don't want to learn a new UI that has been slagged off for the past year. I can't believe I was so in love with Figma in 2022. What a fall from grace.

How much gravy is too much gravy? Local pub does it like this.

Built up like a desert island surrounded by an ocean of Bisto.

When I left my job as HOD at a tech startup. My mic drop moment for my leaving speech was calling the CEO and COO a pair of cunts.

No regrets 🎤

Haptic feedback for the win 🥇
Next year, the EU will require cars to have buttons & dials -- not just touchscreens -- to get a top safety rating.

This is a great move. Drivers can fiddle with knobs & buttons without taking their eyes off the road, but they can't do that with touchscreens.

(Even better: Tesla will hate this)
Cars will need fewer screens and more buttons to earn five-star safety rating in Europe
Euro NCAP will release new testing guidelines in 2026.
