Yes, it's crazy how folks can turn cycling fashion into something divisive. We're all riding bikes, that's what counts.

And for folks who ride in regular clothes, you can (and should) follow @ibikedinthis.bsky.social, who is a wonderful advocate for cycling without dressing like a 'cyclist.'

It's been over a year, and I'm still smitten with this camera. I carry almost everywhere because it literally fits in my pants pocket.

"back to fighting united"?
Dude, read the room. Yes, WE will return to fighting united, but NOT because Democrats ask us to. We have no more reason to trust Democratic leadership than we do Republican leadership.
You've literally become the lesser of two evils.

I may be alone in this, but I love to look at JCO's face. There's a sort of serenity to it, but also, in almost every photograph I've seen, she looks like she's about to say something wickedly clever and devastating.

Let's not confuse "somebody in a leadership position" with "leadership."

You know this isn't just about electoral politics, right? It's this "Who is in the lead, who is going to win?" horserace bullshit that's partially responsible for Trump NOT paying a price.
People are going to suffer because of this. THAT's the story you should care about.

"I believe there are number of Republicans who are gonna join us..."
Me, I believe every time a fairy blows its wee nose a baby is born. The evidence doesn't really support that, but it's as valid as your belief in benevolent Republicans.

I'd agree with you if they'd done this a week into the shutdown. But once the Dems COMMITTED to their position, they needed to stick to it.
MAGA has repeatedly demonstrated they don't believe in compromise, only in victory. Why would they compromise when they know Dems will always give in?

I always ask if I can take my shoes off when I visit other folks. When they visit me, if they DON'T automatically take their shoes off, I invite them to. If they decline, I accept it...but I quietly judge them.
BTW, I keep a couple pairs of Skechers I only wear when I know I'll be visiting others.

"There was never a guarantee that it would be become law."
And why is that? Maybe because the GOP doesn't need to guarantee anything because they KNOW Dems will eventually roll over?
You've just guaranteed that the GOP will NEVER have to guarantee anything.

I think of it as volcanic hatred. Mostly it's just there burbling away under the surface, but now and then it has to erupt and make a massive fuss.
