I'm going to have some takes that are mostly rooted in bitterness and should not be taken seriously. But also I'm right.

How long until the "Tools of the Match" are just three shrugging emoji?

It's really just a super niche style of acting.

@intermiamicf.bsky.social fans are upset about how awful the officiating was against them (and in their defense, it was REALLY bad). But also it felt a bit more like the universe steering back into the lane after a season or so of Miami get away with murder so I'm struggling to feel bad for them.

@philadelphiaunion.com is going to be a handful.

@newyorkredbulls.bsky.social embarrassed Nashville #EveryoneN and will likely embarrass Atlanta next week.

San Diego FC ( @sandiegofc2025.bsky.social )and St. Louis ( #SaintLouisFC ). two of the newest teams... were working equally hard to look equally "meh". San Diego with 72% possession and only 1 shot on target is peak MLS. They'll fit in just fine. But at least we got homophobic chants 🙄

After a few years off it seems San Jose #VamosSJ wants to win again

#RSL too. Maybe, looking like MLS classics might be making a comeback. (because their owners are hoping to sell and cash out after the world cup and they need to push up values)

Right?! Should be focused on Marietta/Cobb! 😏

Tourism board needs to put that on the brochure!

Totally. The reality of this deal is that it would still be a really good move, even if Almiron had never played for Atlanta United in the past. Even he he didn't help Atlanta win the cup. All emotions and nostalgia aside, still a good deal for Atlanta United.

sorry, "transfer" not "trade".
January 15, 2025 at 8:49 PM
Pretty normal for a mid-season trade for starters in soccer. Unless the selling team is in dire financial need or have lost hope in the season.
